My First Triangle Rosemary's Rainbow

I am so happy that Anina is throwing in a triangle here and there. I was dreading these, but finished the first one and it was not bad at all. I mirrored mine on purpose, I like it going in the opposite direction better. Still trying to catch up with the blocks. Hubby and I are off to dinner and a concert of Gloria Estefan tonight to celebrate our 32nd anniversary and a family cookout on Monday. Have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend everyone.

More sewing of blocks, the first two are Civil War Diaries and the last four are Dear Jane blocks. Lots of yard work being done, that leaves not much time for sewing.

Here's one for today! Just four more to make to catch up with the Dear Baby Jane group, Yay, I am up to 20 blocks now! I used reverse applique for this block. It was a very easy block to do.

Yeaaaa...my book arrived today, while babysitting my grandchildren tonight I will read through it and pick out some blocks to make. I did manage to get a few blocks done without the book, these blocks are so much fun and yes they are addicting.

Civil War Diary Quilt

Oh my, another project to add to my list. After seeing everyones lovely blocks I just had to join in, so I went ahead and ordered the Civil War Diaries book from Amazon.com. I am so anxious to get started, I think I will go ahead and do some of the easier blocks while waiting for the book to arrive.

Today's Work

I sat down today and finished appliqueing the 3rd block for my Friendship's Garden quilt and then I pieced the first block to the

I have been reading alot of blogs showing the beautiful Civil War Diary blocks quite a few of the ladies are working on. I love working on civil war style quilts and really have to hold myself back from starting this one. I just have too many projects going on at this time. We will just have to see how long I can hold out, LOL.

Dear Jane Blocks

Paperpiecing is not my favorite thing to do, but I managed to complete these 2 Dear Jane blocks. I know the stripes in the star block are not straight, but I am not going to re-do it.

Clue #2 Finished

I finally finished up with clue #2 for Carolina Crossroad's. I am really enjoying doing these little blocks, I am all by myself this evening so I am off to work on clue #3, more 9-patches.
